Invalid Applicant Email for Interview

When a manager or recruiter enters an applicant’s e-mail address in the Interview Details, the email address must be in the correct format of a valid email (i.e. test@talentreef.com). However, the system is not able to determine whether the e-mail address is actually valid (for example, the e-mail address may not be active, may be misspelled, or may not exist).
 

In this scenario, when the scheduled interview notification is sent to an invalid email address, the person who scheduled the interview will receive an email notifying them of the error. The intent of the failure notification is to ensure the manager/recruiter knows the applicant did not receive a communication about the interview. At this point, the manager/recruiter may reschedule the interview and enter a different email address for the applicant.
